Liftoff. I tried the rest but Liftoff seems the best.

Tried quite a few and enjoying WefWef the most right now, gets updates frequently too. It's a cross platform progressive web app and good ones are rare to see. https://wefwef.app/

[–] Tschuuuls@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

WefW

The frequency of updates is insane. Multiple updates a day at the moment lol. Still, I kinda miss Sync. I'm hyped for that.

[–] Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 year ago

I’ve fallen in love with Memmy but gosh damn, if wefwef isn’t updated even more frequently than Yuzu EA

[–] Liempong_pagong 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The fact is wefwef is very very barebones. No options for setting are implemented yet and it doe not even have an option to block users and communities.

[–] awesomejt@feddit.uk 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fair enough, the question was just about reading posts though.

[–] Liempong_pagong 1 points 1 year ago

yes, I know, but sometimes there are things or subjects from someone or some community you don't want to read about. That's where blocking comes into play. You can concentrate on what you want to read most by eliminating distractions.

But I do respect your opinion on WefWef. As a matter of fact, if the time comes that wefewef(voyager) becomes fully featured, I may make it my main way of browsing lemmy as I do also like it's UI and responsiveness..

Right now my main app is Liftoff, with Jerboa being a very close second.

I'm using Jerboa right now. When I'm on my laptop I use Firefox.

[–] gaytswiftfan 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

jerboa when it feels like working but as soon as sync releases I'm switching over

[–] OceanSoap@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago

Same, eagerly awaiting.

I've also been using your eyes, usually

[–] Lightmeter@lemmy.fmhy.ml 8 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Wefwef.app I'm really enjoying it too

[–] olizet@lemmy.works 2 points 1 year ago

It's so Apollo'ish!

[–] sandayle@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Wefwef is IOS app that work in Android. :)

[–] Granixo@feddit.cl 8 points 1 year ago

Android user here, i use Jerboa πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ

[–] lvxferre@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 year ago

Desktop browser. Firefox more specifically.

[–] Girtablulu@feddit.de 5 points 1 year ago

Lemmy Connect

Mozilla Firefox

Even though there are plenty of great and quickly evolving mobile apps, I use the web interface both on desktop and mobile devices. It's actually quite good, and since I'm a mod and instance admin, the feature completeness is key. Apps are not there yet.

I just use the mobile website. It works and doesn't harass me to use something else, which are both huge improvements from Reddit!

[–] STEbbq@vlemmy.net 4 points 1 year ago

The Mlem app deserves more attention. Wefwef is very good but Mlem should be in the mix. I switch between both.

[–] zeroblood@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Thunder on Android. Waiting patiently for sync for lemmy.

[–] flyingjake@lemmy.one 3 points 1 year ago

I've found myself defaulting to liftoff lately and not regretting it, but threads like these remind me to not get complacent! I found jerboa tough to get started with but decent after configuration was done. I like wefwef as well.

Fwiw I was a Boost user on Reddit

I rotate between Jerboa, Connect, Liftoff, and Thunder. Lately, I've been using Jerboa the most though.

Connect and wefwef. But also keeping an eye on the other apps when they get updated.

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz 3 points 1 year ago

My eyes.. nah I use the regular lemmy website on my computer and wefwef/jeboa on mobile.

[–] kalanggam 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I use mostly the web app. Memmy, Mlem, Jerboa, Liftoff, etc. all look cool, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'll ever go back to having an app on my phone like I did with Reddit. I think I want my engagement with Lemmy to be more on a "when I feel like it" basis than a "when a push notification summons me" basis.

[–] Birdcatname 2 points 1 year ago

Wef right now. I was using jerboa but not always working. Wef is feeling like home to me.

[–] doctortofu@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago

Just a browser for now - set up Firefox Beta on my phone and put the icon where my reddit app used to be. I have Lemmy, Kbin, Squabbles and Tildes bookmarked here and constantly open in tabs, so that it's separate from my regular browsing and I can just switch to ut similarly to opening RIF i the past.

Might switch to apps when they mature a bit more, but for now I'm actually enjoying the browser experience.

Connect for Lemmy on Android

[–] sandayle@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

I like it but it ate up my internet package when I was on vacation.

Switching between Memmy and Mlem. They seem to compliment each other in missing features. Although as Mlem improves, I’ll probably stay there. I’m used to Apollo.

[–] AnusBesamus@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago

Already in love with https://wefwef.app . Feels really snappy on both Android and iOS, really great job from the developers. Also copying the Apollo UI/UX made me feel comfortable since minute 1.

[–] bear_delune 1 points 1 year ago

I’m using Memmy at the moment

[–] Zero@ezekielrage.com 1 points 1 year ago

Android, summit.

[–] fades 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Mixture of Memmy and Mlem apps

[–] citrixscu 2 points 1 year ago

Same. Can’t decide which one I prefer.
