The new meta is Power Profiles Deamon: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/upower/power-profiles-daemon/-/blob/main/README.md
Otherwise you should see if power management is enabled for all your pcie and input devices (using powertop for example). If you run a nvme ssd, make sure it is allowed to use all power states (bit more involved topic).
Good luck :D

If you have an android phone, plug it into the macmini via usb, connect to wifi and enable usb tethering.

Panasonic makes ones for ~4k€. Also ac units are heatpumps, if your house pipe work isn't up to the task.

Snapchat did it. Meta needs to do it, too.

X handles fractional scaling terrible as well lol. Has caused terrible tearing and framedrops for me on a Framework 13.

They are also significantly cheaper then upgrading the existing boiler installs. At least in Germany that's the case, and we have a ton of bodged installs that work but are far from efficient.

The trick is to just install good AC units (multisplit) and rip out the old boiler piping. They have the most optimal heat exchanger for a small area. Unless you have in floor radiant heat, of course.

No, but laptops often do :)

Hi lemmy,

youtube served me this survey today (english translation): "Which of the following issues have you encountered on the YouTube homepage today?

*The page is confusing
*I want to remove a video, but I don't know how to do it
*I couldn't find a particular livestream
*The "Do not recommend videos from this channel" menu option does not work
*Other problem
*None of them / not sure"

Which is funny, because I noticed when I blocked a "right wing propaganda" channel the other day in the YT shorts section it just skipped the video and played another one from the same channel.

Disclaimer: All anecdotal evidence, I can't prove a thing, but even just the idea of me not being able to stop shitty recommendations pains me.

WTF Youtube. Stop that shit.

Edit: Minor Format tweak.
