I think it's a tactic they employ to make you wander their store and stay longer so you will accumulate impulse purchases. Just like the grocery, they properly under staff the checkout counters to make you stay longer and buy the displays on the checkout counter.

Just shop online.

yes, I know, but sometimes there are things or subjects from someone or some community you don't want to read about. That's where blocking comes into play. You can concentrate on what you want to read most by eliminating distractions.

But I do respect your opinion on WefWef. As a matter of fact, if the time comes that wefewef(voyager) becomes fully featured, I may make it my main way of browsing lemmy as I do also like it's UI and responsiveness..

Can confirm. Am using samsung s22 ultra. Only a fresh install fixes this.

The fact is wefwef is very very barebones. No options for setting are implemented yet and it doe not even have an option to block users and communities.

It won't stop them, but it will be our basis to act and defederte, or ban them from our instances.

At least our decisions wont be based on a whim. It will be based on an agreed upon policy that we adhere to. It's like a constitution of a country, but this is for lemmy instances.

I remembered the "when you see it" memes and the "its been x days" memes

Where what you see isnt what it seems.

No judgements but as a person with mild OCD, i can't get past the first few words with difference in thickness. I just want to use OCR and edit this in word.
