How do you discover new music (self.music)

I listen to music 3-6 hours a day and am the type of person who doesn't enjoy hearing the same song the same day or really the day after. Sites I've used for discovering new music were reddit and rateyourmusic.com.

Beyond that I do use Spotify song radios, but typically the song has to be far outside my standard genres to show me new music.

Whatdo others use to discover new music?

I typically go 18g coffee for 300g water with a finer grind. Stolen from James Hoffman's recent v60 recipe. Before that I was doing 20g to 300 with a bit coarser grind but a similar process to what Hoffman describes.

Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings specifically the Fitz books impacted me more than any of the other epic series I've read. There's something about the much focus being in the entire life of one person.

Stormlight may one day become my favorite.
