However I am expecting this to become targeted towards marginalized groups posting, say, judge alito's address for writing to him because he fights so hard against civil rights for favors
i know someone i used to work with who went there because he was effectively their employee bc of how much he contributed via open source and in community

hi nora!!!!!!! i miss it too but i've found that keeping up with specific groups of people is more fun and keeps me less stressed than being subjected to Algorithm, so keep doing what you're doing where i see ya elsewhere!!! sometimes it helps to make space in those communities for talking about news but make sure you aren't just subjecting others to awful stuff just cuz it's happening- be more intentional with what you share, make sure what you share has purpose beyond just "keeping others informed" cuz that's just the friendship equivalent of doom scrolling. hope it helps!
how to explain cisgender and heterosexual to 5 year old?
i thought it was gonna be in my top 5 but I decided that a lot of the parts that try to smooth out the intent of what the game is meant to say about heavy topics like slavery, freedom, genocide, the harmful side of religion, etc really hold the game back a lot
it has pacing issues when it comes to side quest availability
and it's not really an rpg which is kinda frustrating given it's a mainline FF game
it's a good game, but it's not a great game for me. too much moralistic talk that doubles back and presents a "both sides" argument too much despite concretely setting up how in the wrong one of the sides is.
worth playing, lots of really good characters, the combat is extremely fun and the monster fights are also very fun.
i have quit reddit multiple times over such behavior. everyone is looking to become the most upvoted dunk on there

i played again last year a whole bunch!!! it was really nice and fun. but i stopped after a major figure who helped newer players get into the game (myself and my dad included) was basically harassed off the game by people being trolls, and the devs did nothing, so i guess i'm not surprised that talks fell through
anyone remember when it was intentional that search wasn't a thing and people defederated from instances that catalogued other instances' posts for search? just me?
