Good point. We may already be a target of their frustrations. I think the study looks into how likely those impulses are to be acted upon

Bicycle commuter for about 10yrs now. Yes, the good mood dividend is wonderful! I do find a helmet essential, having been knocked over by a motorist. But I'm also conflicted by recent studies showing that helmeted cyclists are dehumanized by motorists. On the other hand, walking into a place with helmet in hand is a great conversation starter: " you rode here?!?" 😎

we have this in my city. pedestrians do not know how to deal with cyclists in what they perceive as their space-- and rightly so! The paint lines are a token separator and not readily noticed. As a cyclist, i almost rather take my chances with road traffic than risk colliding with and injuring a pedestrian.

does Google Chat supercede Hangouts or Allo? i honestly don't remember what apps do what and which are alive or dead... Google, keeping us perpetually confused.

so far i have tried jerboa, connect, and liftoff. Jerboa is a hot mess of compatibility issues but the interface is nice. Connect is stable but tricky to navigate and know what community you are in... Liftoff is just right so far!

that's happened to me as well. I'm now posting from connect for the first time and adjusting to the interface.
