I've been running my Creality CR6 SE (kickstarter edition) for a few years now, and now considering an upgrade to add to the fleet. But I'm way out of the loop on what would be a good robust and reliable option these days. Would love some recommendations on what to look for in a new printer, and maybe which printers the community would agree are solid choices. I already have a good resin printer, so specifically looking at just FDM printers.

The Den just has the one creepy Trade Authority though. Maybe the guy in the bar if you have foodstuffs to sell. I've spent too much real-world time waiting 48 game hours in the chairs by the airlock for him to reset. Kind of a drag.

The Key has 8 vendors all with generous cred limits right next to eachother. I think the next best place is Neon, you can run down the central concourse selling to every shop along the way. Assuming you get any "special acquisition" goods past the scanners that is.

::: spoiler I actually assumed that the UC would set up shop on the Key. It was their station originally, after all. If I had realized the vendors would be gone for good, I may not have finished the Crimson Fleet storyline so early. :::

At the top of my list is to have vendor's available credits scale with my level. I'm hurting to offload a ton of high value loot, especially after

spoilerlosing access to the Key.

I felt the same way almost immediately after my first go through the Unity. Played in the new universe for a couple hours before deciding to reload a save from before the transition, and made the opposite choice. Some of the conversations you have at the Lodge after choosing to stay are pretty poignant, so I'm glad I got to see that.

I'll probably go full into NG+ at some point, but wanted to more fully experience my original universe first. Plus, it's way easier to get those final research projects and max out a few choice skills when I have millions of credits and a boatload of materials gathered off of an entire campaign. I highly doubt I'll have those levels of resources available again.

You can, but they're more autonomous worker drones in the outposts. These ones have personality, and just follow you around while beep-purring. I want to keep them so badly!

Dream Home would not pick again. It's a nice enough house, but I've been there a total of one time when I paid it off. There's no reason at all to go here, or any of the purchasable homes in this game.

Hero Worship sounded funny. It's super irritating. Another waste of a trait

Raised Enlightened Because, science! It's come up in conversation a few times. It's fine I guess. Just realized that I never went to the house of the enlightened to pick up my free crate of goodies.

Not sure if this abandoned Reliant Medical Organics Lab is part of a quest as I came across it in the wild. But I rescued these four garden bots that were locked in a small closet, and now they follow me everywhere. So I guess Sarah and I have a family now, and this is my new home because I can't abandon them again. They keep making happy robot noises at me.

Going to second Ovvo. I have a pair of their titanium frames, and they're awesome. I can bend and twist them and they just flex right back into shape. I like that the arm hinges don’t have any screws or springs, they're just folded metal oragamied together. Plus, they're ridiculously light.

My first favorite plane. I find the drone of those engines to be extremely relaxing.

If this hits your nostalgia buttons, take a look at NoClip's new game Stunt Derby https://store.steampowered.com/app/2026450/Stunt_Derby/

NoClip is a video game documentary patreon/youtube channel. They decided to make their own game to better understand the industry.

My house came with a beautiful oak built-in in the basement, that was made to fit the prior owner's standard-def tube tv. Its a huge, deep, square hole that we can't do anything with.

Instead of just corner guides, 3d print entire templates. Then double-stick tape them to your wood and use a pattern bit in your router. Pattern bits are different from a flush cut bit, the bearing is on the opposite end.

It's not like they're going to say, "oh, don't bring THAT recovery vehicle, it can go TOO deep."
