Nearly everyone I know watches YouTube in some kind or another regularly. Most of them on a smart TV or mobile with ads. I think the amount of people watching youtube regularly is vastly higher than the amount of people just watching it when they get sent one video. Espechially since most people use phones to communicate with others and will watch the Videos sent to them with that device and the original YouTube App.
I don't think it will piss off people enough to a point that Google will care. There will be a very small amount of techy people that will always try to circumvent this but the vast majority of people will deactivate AdBlock or buy premium.
Gris is not only a beautiful game but it also has an absolutely beautiful soundtrack.
I hope an Imgur link is fine. If not please tell me which (multi) image hoster is fine here on lemmy. Here are a few pictures I took of my setup and the necromanced parts
What the fuck did I just witness.
I have four screens from four different manufacturers, with three different sizes, three different resolutions, two different aspect ratios and two different refresh rates.
Two of these are resurrected from the dead of which one has a high voltage cold cathode driver externally plastered to it's back (because the internal failed and there was no space inside) and the other one shining from every pore because I "replaced" one cold cathode tube by plastering the "replacement" tube somewhere in the housing of the monitor to fool the driver into thinking all tubes are fine (one was defect, the driver doesn't work without every tube connected and putting the replacement in the place where it should belong is too much work).
I am basically the evil necromancer of chaotic evil.

I am currently typing this on my Fairphone 4. I personally do really like it and the only thing I would really complain about is the cameras. They are fine but as soon as you get into low(ish) light settings or try to zoom just a little bit it get's bad. When using 8x digital zoom you basically have pixel soup. And yes, I know digital zoom sucks. But at the same time my Galaxy S7 was older and did this soo much better.
I was also annoyed about the missing headphone jack but it turns out that it really isn't a huge problem for me. I mostly need it in my car and I just have a dongle that splits into USB-C (for charging) and 3.5mm jack that I store in my car. I don't really get why Fairphone decided against it but it really doesnt affect me as much as I feared it would.
So einen Schwachsinn kann man sich echt nicht ausdenken...
Das fasst die Situation doch durchaus gut zusammen.
