My goat figured out how to climb the stairs so now he has to start transitioning to big boy outside goat life. I love him but I don't want him climbing up to our bed and making my life smell like goat.
The sun wont be down till after 9 tonight. Summer is so weird. Winter is much better, it's dark at like 5.
Did all my Sunday chores. I'm enjoying some adult recreation and trying to decide if i wanna play story of seasons or continue to mindlessly scroll on the internet.

personally disagree about the sunrise/set bit. i’m the winter, i’m heading to work and getting home before and after the sun is out, and that eternal darkness is wayyyy too depressing.
I get seasonal affective disorder in the summer. It's too hot (i never have to heat the house really so + for winter), i burn like crazy (less sun is less cancer exposure), and it's terribly hard to have a sleep schedule when it's not dark at a reasonable time.
Oh. And you can only take so much off in the summer to cool off. I can always keep bundling up. So summer is always shitty af! 😝
Thankful that it's a long weekend, I can't drink wine like I used to, and yesterday was Canada Day.

Slowly building the itemization of my game DieCaster. Just finished daggers and now working on swords. These are base items that dice and other properties then form a full item. This project has dragged on forever, still moving forward though.
Had an awesome day at the aquarium with the family and a really nice evening relaxing and now that dinner is done, I’m playing the Dragon Warrior IV RPG for NES with the kids. It’s fun!
Going well, watched some episodes of a show about airplanes. Tomorrow is cataract surgery for my boyfriend's mom. The first eye was done two weeks ago, so it will be good to put it behind us. The first eye is recovering well. Did you know there are several different types of cataracts? That's something I just learned about from this.
It's going pretty well, we just put the ducks to bed and are judging the nightly attention competition between the dog and cat.
I'm good. Slightly stressed but will make it thru.

sun is setting out west, just packing up for early for a trip to my parents cabin. All packed and ready to go for the week, going to grab some thai food and play some Zelda. Feeling good after a long, hard work week.
