Isn't that known since the early 2000s?
Bad enough that they covered that up for 50 years or so. They knew that the chemicals needed to produce PTFE (Teflon) are toxic but still covered that up and said they're harmless.

Even within a month
They shut down. Some of the staff died due to covid, some shoot each other in the Ukraine vs Russia war and the remain ones are kinda tired of it. Also hosing has became more expensive due to inflation and they aren't able to afford that anymore
At least they weren't raided
Eh, the UI kinda sucks. I agree that it's still incredible for a free and open source app
Edit:
you can't compare them since they're build for different things, serve a different purpose and work completely diffrently
I think thats against the rules for some reason. Probably because they don't want to moderate all that
I'm a pretty active user on the site and I almost exclusively use 3rd party apps because their official apps suck ass.
I'm talking about active in the sense of at least 30 comments a day and 15 posts since the beginning of this year.
I would guess that most power users and mods are using a 3rd party client. So they would lose a lot of users who create content and many communities will die.
Not to mention that they basically want to kill all of NSFW reddit so these communities will die too.
I usually just use Steam or Lutris.
Heroic is also pretty good though. Especially the UI
For Minecraft I use PrismLauncher
