Interesting. I'm on lemmy.ml using Jeroba, when I go into the Canberra community in the app I can only see one post and one comment (my own), but when I look at the website there's four other comments. Any idea why that is? Is this the fault of the app? Or does it come down to the federated nature of Lemmy?

What's the benefit in requesting your data? I tend to periodically nuke my Reddit accounts and cycle through usernames and I've never thought to save anything.
I applied for a few other instances but this one came through first. Your downfall is being too good compared to the competition.
There's an 'anal' community, but there seems to be no content 😅.
It's a bit clunkier than Reddit, and obviously a smaller userbase. I'm sure the experience will get better with time. The real key to success will be getting more users to create content
My other irk is the next group that assumes everyone who isn't American must be from Europe.
