Im working up the courage to. Ill never go back, but it is also hard to delete that much history just for a statement

The only reason I stuck with Reddit was because of Apollo. Iโ€™ve just requested my data, hopefully I can get to grips with Lemmy!

I requested my data the other day too. I haven't heard anything yet, which makes me wonder if they will actually do it, because I'm sure they got a ton of requests at this point. I'm hoping to get that before I pull the plug completely.

What's the benefit in requesting your data? I tend to periodically nuke my Reddit accounts and cycle through usernames and I've never thought to save anything.
