A literal move actually. 20 years ago I moved from America to a country with universal health care. That has saved my family probably close to a quarter million bucks in health care fees alone.

I know this is supposed to be a parody, but is it really?

Seems you've gotten your answer, but leave an update after you eat and let us know how it went (and to make sure you didn't die :P )

I've gotten there a few times, and in my semi-dream state I did a bunch of work and cleaned my house. So imagine my disappointment when I woke up and none of that was actually done 😔

Biden is a good guy, but damn if he isn't stuck in the past. Every decision he makes seems like it would've made sense if it was still 1998. This is something Clinton probably would've done and everyone would've loved him for it, but the world has moved on, and people now understand the situation there is not as black and white as they thought.

to be fair, kinda helps that I was an adult and not in the US before most of those services even became a thing ;)

I realize I'm a bit strange when it comes to social media, but have never signed up for twitter, discord, youtube, facebook, instagram, or anything else like that. I had a reddit account, but bailed as soon as I heard about kbin. So yeah, I gues that makes me a full fedi.
