Almost without fail, every service that touches creeptocurrencies goes into a decline.

Don't expect Proton to make virtuous ethical choices anytime soon, especially now that Trump joined the cult. Once the greed bug has bitten, making a profit supersedes delivering a good product as the primary objective.

"Responsible financial diversification requires holding some assets outside of the traditional government controlled banking system. That's why Proton will continue to #HODL a significant proportion of our reserves in #Bitcoin to safeguard our independence." —Proton's response to Bitcoin magazine's: "Retweet if you are #HODLing 🙌"

Thanks for taking the time.

Blood is most likely just a minor nosebleed due to nosepicking or simply vulnerable tissue. No need for panic. If it happens more often than not, then simply check with a doctor. And still no need for panic.

I don't know Nostr and creepto incentivizes greed. A pitchfork is all you need.

No seriously, what does love mean to you? The love of your child, the love of your partner(s), monogamy, polyamory, (non) consensual non-monogamy, infatuation, limerence, heartbreak. The love of one's hobby, the love for an object, the love of an idea, et cetera. Whatever it is that comes to mind goes.

Telegram used to be so darn satisfying to use years ago, but as soon as they started peddling a crypto"currency" it all went downhill. Deleted my account a month ago.

Wouldn't be surprised if a chubby man with a beard made this.

How weird that Elon Musk didn't build a small fire extinguishing submarine.

Don't die on company time.

Money corrupts, almost without fail.

Due to the explosion of AI generated content I feel this applies to the Web in general. I rarely read or engage with anything anymore because what's the point.

Same, one of my all-time favourites.

The Apprentice's remarkable acting and screenwriting genuinely encapsulates Trump's rise to power. The writers failed to succumb to simple mockery, but laid bare cause and effect sans nauseam. My disbelief has finally yielded to understanding why there's no better representative for contemporary USA; Donald Trump is the worst victim of toxic masculinity.

The simple trick to keeping one's upper body warm is adding layers. However, wearing multiple socks does not work for the feet. At least not for me. Any advice? Preferably non-electric solutions.

Because I've been eating rice more often I realized via my energy bill that cooking in a pot on an electric plate for 30 minutes consumes massive amounts of electricity. Therefore I'm currently browsing for rice cookers, but the info on energy efficiency leaves much to be desired.

What would be the most efficient method to cook brown rice? Which appliance would be recommendable and ideally be in line with the Buy It For Life philosophy?
