They're far from perfect, but I have the Nreal Air glasses and find them pretty dope. They have sony oled tech so they're surprisingly bright even in a lit room, and the pixel density is great. No screen door effect like VR headsets.

They're the 1st iteration, not very user-friendly for non-techies and absolutely need a lot of work, but the concept is very much there. I mostly use them to play Steam deck games on a "big screen" now, but the accompanying Android app attempts a phone + app-like design like the Vision.

Huh, very interesting... I'm kinda shocked these exist. And at least owncast seems to load fairly quickly.

they absolutely did not tailor it to VR unfortunately ):

Very much agreed. UI friendly, both on desktop and on mobile--even mobile browser. Instances are kinda confusing but I think im starting to understand it

There’s a demo on steam! Idk how long it is but worth checking out

I really enjoy it, but I love these types of games. There is backtracking when you’re obtaining items and unlocking doors and stuff, very similar to Prey. There’s a demo on steam to check out! Faithful to the original but in the right ways imo

Browser seems to work fairly well! Leagues beyond the shit of Reddit on mobile browser.

System Shock! Felt like it's been coming out forever and then suddenly just dropped. Amazing so far
