This doesn't answer the primary concern though. Do male lions have the same hunt participation rate after being in a pride? All this paper talks about is strategy. Everyone knows male lions hunt, they have to before they get a pride. But what about after? Do they hunt at the same rate? Or just stop altogether?

Wishing you luck, it's so worth it once it works

You probably need to use localhost lol or the name of container set in the docker compose file. Both might work, I forget

I think this means it can't actually see your jellyfin instance, you need to use your computer's local network ip instead of localhost if the two containers aren't in the same pod via a docket compose file. I've had this issue before.

Any of the Horizon games, genuinely some of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Zero Dawn has some downright beautiful winter environments. And while I’ve barely started Forbidden West, that game is a step up from the from the first game from the very first moment you get control of Aloy. So pretty! I recommend watching the trailers to see more

Was looking for this in this comment section, I see this solution as becoming the goto for moving between installs even though it is limited right now

Vanilla GNOME make brain feel good. Ubuntu GNOME make brain feel bad

I've found that is shifting a bit as a lot of newer hardware needs kernel support, and as new people with newer devices enter the linux world they can encounter issues. I know I've had to wait for feature to make it to the kernel before I got it for some newer hardware. It can be frustating especially if it's something essential or realky desirable. Even more so if you aren't tech savvy.

I'm ngl after reading that I somewhat understand the concept, but the specifics are completely lost on me. They spent that whole interview talking about problems with colonialism (which is important don't get me wrong), but very little time on the actual topic. I still don't really know what indigenous geography actually is. The way he describes feels more like a mindset thing to encourage mindful behavior than like an actual field of study. Maybe I just need more context.

I remember reading a blog post (I think from them) that said they didn't mind a KDE version. The one caveat is that it had to be as feature complete and polished as the GNOME version with a full suite of modern QT/KDE apps to replace the GTK ones. Considering the core team are pretty much all GTK devs (some with their own apps) it seems pretty unlikely unless a community team that really likes KDE and the vanillaos concept forms.

Does anyone know if Ubuntu Touch supports flatpaks? I’ve been following the project and think what they’re doing is super cool for mobile Linux. I’ve even been thinking about installing it on one of my devices just to try it out at some point.

One problem though. Does it support flatpak? If not, that might be a deal breaker. All the best mobile friendly apps are easily available through flathub. It’s also my preferred way to get them since snap is not as good and natives packages are bound to be outdated given Ubuntu Touch’s current version.

I used to downvote fairly often on Reddit as a sign to disagree or to push down really disgusting bigoted comments. And to be honest, it became a habit to just downvote without replying. However, now that I’m on lemmy and not Reddit I’ve been actively trying to not instantly downvote things and instead move on or take the time to reply. Has anyone else been trying to do this?
