Read the arch wiki if you are in doubt, go through manual install once for experience, follow the arch wiki guide for that too.

Arch wiki is life, YT guides are basically useless for this.

This is especially funny in South Korea. Go to a Casino and burn $2000 and you may even get jail time, but gatcha is A ok.

Improvements to the UI & lossless editing are nice, 20 years too late, but nice. Outside of that we are still 19 years behind PS, feature parity is impossible, anywhere near the same productivity is impossible :/

Feels like the foss community is a bit unlucky with gimp, there are so many truly great productivity tools outside of this one area.

Energy costs money in China too, they still have coal plants and crazy energy cutback mandates every once in a while.

The truth of the matter is that you need the user interactions from the free model to train and that value cannot be understated and if you are playing catchup, then it's a must. No one would use the Chinese model if it was a shit service.

This true for most people, but Calc is limiting for certain use cases.

It's really sad that Elon did not know that we are female at conception.

I use a steel tea stainer, easy to clean with a metal scrubber or citric acid if it's really bad.

Lex Friedman also had a recent podcast episode where his guest kept defending big pharma & insurance. It's insane, his worst interview to date, though I knew for a longtime that he is a sellout.

Now give me half that performance for $150, without enforcing that whatever it's called bar thing! (neither of these two things will happen)

Epic gave Celeste to me for free & oh boy it's one of the best games I have ever played. Also got Ocmo on ios for free & it's an incredible game.

I don't know why is everyone so surprised, the dude is a hundred, retiring from politics, of course he will save his son. In his place as a parent I too would prioritize my son / family peace over my legacy.

To show the panel above a game window, without Firefox, Dolphin windows, the start menu etc popping up alongside it?

I'm using the 'Move keyboard focus between panels' keybind as a non-reliable workaround right now.

Do plasmoids need QT 6 porting?

I spent an incredible amount of time figuring this one out, despite the solution being very simple. So I'll just share this here, who knows perhaps someone else can benefit from this.

So here is how to fix the Cyberpunk 2077(1.6) black screen problem with Nvidia. (this does not affect every Nvidia Linux user of course, but I've found people on Reddit suffering from the same problem)

You'll need Bottles (probably Lutris would work too with an identical envo, but I have not succeeded with Lutris), the flatpak is good, but don't forget to run Flatseal to give Bottles folder permissions as needed.

So basically, Bottles has a main menu button that looks like this: 三. Click on that and go into preferences, once there install the following items:

Runner:

                               -caffe-7.20

DLL Components:

                              -dxvk-2.2-5-9b019d2

                              -vkd3d-proton-2.9-3-db60896

                              -dxvk-nvapi-v0.6.3-2-f2e8ed9

Once done, make a new custom bottle, enable all 4 of these things there & also set the Windows version to 8.1, Sync to Esync and turn on Feral GameMode. With these settings the black screen issue is solved for me, though I had to press 'esc' once to skip an intro that refused to run (well it's still black screen, but a skippable kind..).

With my gtx 1060 the performance is decent, comparable to Windows.
