I think he really has the best interests of his users in mind. Surely he would encourage other developers to make apps in order to make his site more accessible. His site is called "reddit.com", I don't know if you've heard of it.

I think a lot of them will. Realistically, a lot of people are going to forget about the whole blackout thing and just use the official app.
