The attack was clearly very useful for the Israeli government and army.

You could try using the e-ink buddy from Adafruit. I bought one for driving a price tag e-ink as well but have not tested it yet unfortunately. On their site they say that e-ink connectors are pretty standardized.
I find Phind.com quite useful as an IT person.
It saves you a trip to the planet just to be instantly killed there. So it may be there to reduce frustration. Personally I would prefer if there were just hints about the level though, not rough numbers.
That is an impressive amount of I/O indeed!
Can you use multiplexers? I am using 5 shift registers and MMjoy to get 40 ports.
For me it is Hades as well. Impulse purchase and I like so far. I'm progressing very slowly though. Still hesitant to active Godmode.
Cool project. I made one as well but for VR, with buttons of different shapes. All in a printed case and with custom PCB.
Works great but I want to redo one, this time with more knobs. They are such a pain to turn. Maybe just 6 knobs arranged in a line.
BTW, what microcontroller are you using? And what software?
But how much time? There is a comment in the thread I am looking at that is 12 hours old but not visible on tchncs:
I am both excited and a bit worried as well. The kind of missions they show are really great. Some of those you can already do in MSFS2020 using the H145 with the action pack for example. I imagine those kind of third party missions will get even better once MSFS2024 supports such missions out of the box. I'm sure they will still accommodate hardcore simmers and the API.
Well, I did not expect that. Could be a good thing if the main motivation was to redevelop core components to make them run more efficiently.
My wishlist:
- faster loading times
- a simple, efficient menu instead of eye-candy
- a better control bindings menu
- better VR support, especially for cockpit interaction
There's a pretty good game as well on Steam called Nucleares. Very challenging but cool to be able to walk around the plant .
