Valid. We usually set schedules like a D&D session though. Just need the host to be a good DM. Works better for us as opposed to a live server, in my case anyway.

I use Linux and my nvidia was gifted. Needless to say, I had constant issues with nvidia drivers. Until I switched my distro to Arch. It's the only distro I stopped having issues with, aside from the other non GPU issues. But absolutely do not recommend for casual users.

Yes, I know. The structure of Valheim is similar to Minecraft, in a way that would not be hard to pick up and play if you were already familiar with it. Plus, it's a great game. So I gave my recommendation :p

It's a breath of fresh air here. I'm days old and have no desire to turn back. I'm not lurking anymore after 12+ years. And it feels human, despite being a digital platform. The investment seems like a risk worth taking honestly. (as long as they stay transparent) Let's keep it up, yeah?

Side note: I remember a questionnaire for brave browser maybe? About their BAT pay system for publishers/ devs to sustain their ecosystems. And I settled on $2 a month being fair for an ad-free/ hassle-free experience, granted the content was worth it. This feels entirely worth it. And I don't have to deal with fucking tokens.

I will 2nd Phasmophobia. I have like 500+ hours in game. Makes all the difference with good friends, for sure.

Valheim is good even if you can't be on at the same time. Just slowly build out a world as you would in Minecraft and save the biome raids for when you can get the party together. It's flexible.

Using Jeroba (not the same), but I have noticed some NSFW posts not blurred and whatnot. Might have something to do with instance settings or forgetting to tag it NSFW. You can always block those communities from their page, or browse local/ subscribed. You can unblock them whenever in your settings. If you are looking for occasional NSFW content, there's always the option of creating a separate account for it. Switching between accounts is easy enough and you should feel more comfortable while browsing in public :)

Expectations are set. Been here only a few days and i'm here for it. It's been overall a great experience. Not just with functionality, but the atmosphere y'all have fostered. It works even with the quirks. I'm a firm believer in work life balance, so please, do what you must and stay sane. Really just saying thanks. I will support this however I can.

Tomorrow is now today. Wishing you the best, and hoping you got adequate rest :)

A user mentioned a toggle in the App info for Jeroba that allows instance links to open in-app, as opposed to a web re-direct. They do plan on adding more instances to this list from what I understand. Since toggling, it has felt more like a functional app imo. "They’re working on expanding it past their default list, but to enable those long press on Jerboa > App Info > Open by default > toggle the enable button and turn on all the links."

Thank you, seriously. I definitely want one. It looks sturdy enough for my gremlins. The price difference is not too bad either.
