Not much to be said here. Just unfortunate that they're only being found now.

Hi all. In recent months, I've been donating blood through Canadian Blood Services.

I recently got an email from them saying that currently they're at their lowest level of donators in a decade, and I was hoping to maybe give a shout and encourage those able to donate to do so.

Cheers!

Libertarian Socialist, though I might be a bit further left than that considering some of the ideas I have. I just find myself agreeing with Kyle Kulinski a lot since he seems to be the most agreeable and honest political commentator I know, and I've found other good channels through word of mouth from him.

Article from CBC detailing how Dr. Hinshaw was offered a position with the Indigenous health team, causing the resignation of Indiginous Wellness Core senior medical director Dr. Esther Tailfeathers.

Pretty much title of the post. As nice as memes have been, I'm hoping to make the community more than that, and decided to start off with a simple question relating to asexuality.

For me, I never realized it until after high school when I realized it wasn't really something that mattered to me much, and it really should have been obvious to me ages back when I only found people to be cute or pretty rather than "hot" like my classmates did in school.

As if she's not one herself? The majority of her votes in office were in conjunction with Trump's agenda.

For me, I would have to say Kananaskis. I really enjoyed being there with the Tim Horton's Children's Ranch ages back, and I still remember we did a lot of things in the area that were incredibly fun.

Whitewater rafting on the Kananaskis River was great, and we went hiking along a path that had incredible waterfalls and an amazing view at the top of the trail. Would absolutely go there again if I ever had the opportunity.

Would probably be a good idea to place it in a museum with proper context. Doesn't seem too large based on the photos.

Like I'm of the opinion that while having these statues out in the public eye (as in, in a park or whatever) is wrong as it sets the wrong idea for what's considered accepted by the community, I also don't think destroying the piece is a good idea since you lose the entire idea of what it represents, which eventually leads to people forgetting and repeating those behaviours.

+1 to Tusky, though I haven't tried the official app since it was iOS exclusive at the time I last used Mastodon on my phone.

Been thinking about getting the McCain smile fries at the store for a while now. Do you ever get weird looks from the cashier, or do they not care?

I was really bummed out when I developed lactose intolerance, but I was shocked by how good the Silk Dark Chocolate soy one was.

Also found some brands sell it lactose free here, but unfortunately they're harder to come across in stores.

I've been thinking about getting some stuff from my childhood again. I recently watched We're Back on YouTube and while the movie is not great, it has a great charm, which has been making me think of getting the VHS tapes I used to have as a kid.

Aside from that movie, I'm also thinking of getting The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Anastasia, The Jungle Book, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
