I received this watch from my dear friend as a gift, I stashed this away for years, but he recently passed so I remembered this, I know nothing about watches so I thought to ask here.
its definitely a fake and a bad one at that... but at this point its value lies in its memory, not in its monetary value. Sorry to hear about your friend.
