How true is the negative top review, a player killed an admin/GM in PvP and got banned for it?

Haven't heard of that, sounds like an odd situation. Not 100% sure I believe it without more context.

I don't take reviews at face value, I have a game on steam too so I know some reviews may be way off.
How is project Gorgon these days? I remember it always looked interesting and promising, but I always wanted to wait until it was developed more.
It's in a really good spot right now. If you've ever been interested now is probably a good time.
Well at that price point I'm gonna pick it up and at least take a look, thanks!
You've been playing since 2014 and it's still in early access? Isn't that kinda weird?
Either way, I'll check it out. I'm a sucker for MMOs.
At least it's in early access. You've got games like Camelot Unchained and Pantheon that have been fundraising for 10 years and barely have an alpha to show. 😅
Oh man, I remember trying to de-hype my dad for Pantheon. We played a lot of EverQuest (and he still did honestly) so he was extra keen to hear Brad McQuaid was attached to the project (RIP).
The game started as the musings of an old gm/qc/dev from Asheron's Call. The early days of the game were more like a sandbox for the dev and the players. He was throwing different systems at the wall to see what stuck with the players. I remember it being full of place holder assets and jank.
I wonder why they haven't flipped it over yet? MMOs are never "done" and they are taking subscriptions so Early Access seems strange. On the other hand, it does have a demo, so I might try it anyway.
EDIT: A few hours of the demo was enough to convince me to drop the discounted price on the game. The graphics are meh, but the game seems to actually perform pretty well.
I've been playing since pre-alpha lol. It's been a long time. xD
It's a passion project being developed by a wife & husband team (both gamedev veterans if I recall), so I don't ever expect it to exit early access. I think it is in EA more as a signifier of it being a constant work in progress
