Actually it was probably Spelunky 2
BotW. After 5 years of trying!
Zelda: Links awakening
Final Fantasy 7. I've wanted to play more Final Fantasy games for a while now and with Rebirth coming out it seemed like a good time to pick it up. Trying to decide now between trying another Final Fantasy or picking up something else to avoid JRPG burnout.
I need to get around to finishing Hi-Fi rush. I did play through a couple of smaller surprise releases recently. McDonald's dropped Grimace's Birthday but that took all of 20 minutes. The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog was another one.
Factorio. And the game before that? Factorio. It's a good game.
I hate and love the game. The addictiveness factor is crazy. I put it down after launching the ticket and never took it up again, otherwise I'd be spending the rest of my life playing it.
I rarely complete games, but I finished Cyberpunk 2077 a couple weeks ago. Now I need to try some alternate endings. The game accommodates that pretty well.
it was probably Kirby and the Forgotten Land a few months ago lol. I feel like I need to put in more hours gaming. I struggle to complete my games partly due to not enough hours playing, and partly because I jump between games.
Red Dead Redemption 2
A link to the past
Last game I beat was a small indie game called Eversion. Currently playing Bloodstained: Curse of the moon 2. Definitely have some unfinished games though. I've got about 50 hours in Death Stranding and not even close to done.
Everspace 2. If you liked good old Freelancer, this is the closest game to scratch that itch I've found so far. Combat is really good, although the world could feel more alive most of the time.
Signalis! Small indie game with a perfect atmosphere, halfway between silent hill and dead space
Ghost of Tsushima - I collected every item, completed every challenge and was expecting something cool to happen. It did not.
RDR2. Took me 3 years since I got a child shortly after beginning. The only one that I completed in the meantime was untitled goose game. Otherwise I have just played around in BeamNG or another racing game for a short while at a time.
Jedi Survivor. The story really took a nosedive in the latter third, so I was happy to snap it off.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Don't often finish games these days. Usually burn out on them.
Deathspank, haha! Currently playing through steamworld quest, more or less just picking interesting games from my 1500 games big backlog on steam to play on my steamdeck lol
The last game I finished was Shadow of the Tomb Raider a while back. Or.. maybe Tomb Raiger Legend after that.. went on a tomb raider spree with the latest trilogy followed by Legend.
Now I'm playing Diablo 4 and the campaign of Modern Warfare II. I'm thinking the latter is easier to actually complete. :)
Tears of the Kingdom, just this morning! Before that, I 100%'d Bloodborne a couple months ago.
The Case of the Golden Idol. Incredible game, short as well. Such a satisfying story to solve. If you want to play a game that scratches a similar itch to The Return of the Ones Dinn, this can do that.
Tears of the Kingdom. Took me about 150 hours but I completed almost every shrine and I think had most of the equipment. Fantastic game with a really strong ending (though that part could've been a bit tougher in my opinion).
Basically beats BOTW in every way.
Budget Cuts Ultimate. It was a first playthrough since I never played the original release. I liked the story and that they combined both Budget Cuts 1&2 so it felt like a full game. I tend not to finish games unless I get hooked so it was nice to finally complete one. I also don't replay games once I beat the main story so I've been running around Zelda Totk avoiding the final battle lol.
Dishonored. Since then playing hl2, darkest dungeon, the witness, danganronpa and don't starve. I think it's good to have games from different genres to play so I can pick one for my mood.
The last game I finished was Disco Elysium, before that I can't even remember. It is not a common occurence. I've played some short indie games like Death & Taxes to the end, but bigger games, maybe Dragon Age Inquisition or X-COM2 but that's years ago now. Currently I'm sort of between games, I've got a Total Extreme Wrestling save that I dabble with now and then when I have some spare time.
I was so addicted to master duel since eit came out I don't think I completed anything since. Ghost of Tsushima was the last game I beat I think. The steam deck has helped me get back into single player games and now I'm working on far cry 6.
Hardspace Shipbreakers. Damn the ending was a rollercoaster but super satisfying.
Just beat the Diablo IV campaign over the weekend.
Much of the games I play these days aren't really completable, or I'm playing stuff I've beaten before without really intending to complete the game. That includes Destiny 2, LotRO, and another new character in Elden Ring.
Which means in the past month I've only "beaten" SOMA and Breath of the Wild (for the second time).
Pokemon Red++. Was a fun ROM Hack that just added a ton of QoL. Last original game though? Probably Scarlet Nexus.
Still trying to finish Persona 5 Royale. Main game was so fun but I'm having a hard time with the Royale content. It's just not as fun.
