Both Southwest Colorado and Western North Carolina. Totally different mountains in each but both are still beautiful in their own way.

UK. Rural East Anglia in fact. If you have seen the tv show Detectorists you will have seen several locations that I travel past regularly.

North of England. I like it, I used to live in a city but recently moved out to a town which has much easier access to the countryside, and I prefer that a lot more. One thing I like about the new place is the diversity of food - There's some great Indian, Turkish, and Polish restaurants in the area, even a Brazilian steakhouse.

I'm in England, Essex. That's east of London. Stuck between two cities in a rural setting.

Northern Saxony-Anhalt in Germany, probably the most boring place in this country with nothing but dry fields and narrow minded people, at least outside of the capital city

I live in the Piney Woods region of East Texas. It's wetter than what most people imagine when they think of Texas and has beautiful, towering pine trees and the rivers have knobby kneed bald cypress trees. Unfortunately, all that moisture out here comes with a lot of mosquitos, too. We still have Texas heat and humid heat is pretty miserable, sometimes I wish I lived in a desert instead but I would miss all the greenery.

I used to live in Hesse when I was very young, I started kindergarten there. Unfortunately, I barely know any German. I might have to look up those comedians for more listening practice!

The part of British Columbia that is just east enough of Vancouver to stop being a beautiful coastal rainforest and start being treeless, godforsaken farmland. It was a rainforest with a beautiful lake 150 years ago but then the settlers showed up, drained the lake, cut down the trees, and turned it all into farmland so we can have raspberries.

I'd never heard of the Maidenhead Locator System so I thought perhaps that was a typo. I went to uni close to there (which is South England) but lately I live in SE Asia (it's too hot!)

I'm living in North West Wales, by Eryri/Snowdonia. Moved here recently having previously been living in various major cities for work in England. Work is still there, but due to Covid we've pretty much moved fully remote, meaning I can live next to mountains instead of motorways!

Lots of history here as well as lots of outdoorsy things to do, which is lovely. Though bit of a challenge learning the Welsh language as that is most people's first language here.

What I love about the area I live in (and most of Helsinki for that matter) is how close nature is. I live a few hundred meters from the beach, there's two nature preserves within 1km, and generally there's lots of trees and greenery everywhere

Good morning, from the mountains of Montana, USA.Currently working remotely from home, and getting to know my fellow Beehaw buds on my down time, and hoping our fire season isn't as bad as the past couple of years. I've been looking into heading to Canada, as I'm growing increasingly worried at how things are changing here.
