Resist: It's Time

We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."

The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.

The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.

It's time.

I know it's probably photoshop but I want to believe I'm living amongst people that see what's going on.

see, there's actually an argument here.

nazis are kind of don't live in material reality. they're all solipsists. if something real fucks their shit up, they need to create a diagetic reason for it to have happened, that cauterizes the intrusion of material reality into their fantasy world. they are as human as thanos or the red skull. if you would toss a ruined comic book, or rotted DVD, you should feel no guilt about doing the same to a nazi 'life', because you are not ending their life as they see it. you don't even exist to them.

Nazi lives don't matter since they are a dimensional glitch 😆

genuinely not entirely untrue. they're unsalvagable, and they wouldn't want you keeping useless dangerous mentally ill people around, so by their own ethics; they gotta go. really, NOT killing nazis is disrespectful to the nazis.

I often feel like we as a society let "everyone is entitled to their opinion" go too far. Like when it's "I like vanilla and you like chocolate" that's fine. Let people enjoy their flavor of choice. But when it's like "I don't think those foreign people should live" that's just the same kind of thing at all.

And closely related, when someone's like "I just don't believe in vaccines" we shouldn't just let that be.

Yes. Unfortunately, if you try to slug a nazi a bunch of pearl clutchers will pop up saying violence is never ever ever acceptable oh dear we need to compete in the marketplace of IDEAS and follow the LAW we might not like that the law says the [outgroup] are to be forcibly relocated but it is what it is oh dear.

I don't expect everyone to be on the front line throwing a molotov, but I would like if more people wouldn't actively support the oppressors.

It's probably not Photoshop, I see shit like this all the time on light posts in my city. There's a really great one near me that breaks down why our police are awful, and asks for nobody to join the department. Pretty important, since the police have been desperately trying to hire for months.

Also saw one that was just Deny, Defend, Depose, very similar style to this one, but black text on red. I imagine it was a local anarchist's work.

Make fascism an occupational hazard again

You don't even have to feel bad because they aren't real people.

[–] MelodiousFunk@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 day ago

They absolutely are real people. Which makes it all the more horrific.
