Beef stew cooked with lots of wine for dinner tonight. I'll do baked brussels sprouts and cauliflower in cheese sauce to go with it. I made a big batch of stew so will have 6 serves for later too.

Breakfast this morning was sourdough avocado and cheese toast, with 2 fried eggs. Plus a little bit of parsley for garnish so I could call it fancy,

Leftovers of last night's minestrone, it's always better the next day

Table booked at our favourite Chinese places final night. I hope they go out with a bang and they're well stocked.

35yrs of awesome satay; naturally I've skipped lunch!

Edit: asked for the satay recipe and got it! Can't wait to stuff it up, try again, stuff it up again and then get it right the first time.

Going the multi-course, because I’m fucking starving

  • miso soup
  • vegetable gyoza + soy sauce
  • Japanese curry (pork, assorted root veg) with rice
