Am I an asshole for agreeing with the train station?
There were 800 people on the train. Who knows if one of them was traveling to have (or perform) a life saving medical procedure. Someone may have been rushing home to say final goodbyes to a passing loved one. There are any number of reasons 800 people should not wait indefinitely while authorities remove a pet cat from under a train. The owners let it escape. It's unfortunate, but actions have consequences.
I'm open to changing my mind if anyone wants to argue the other side.
I think they could have tried something during the 20 minutes untill departure.
