I miss playing MMO's, but micro transactions ruin any sense of progression for me.

Any mmo's out there that fit the bill?

Cosmetics are fine, as long as you can't just turn around and sell said cosmetics in game.

FFXIV, RuneScape (either one, personally recommend 3) if you do Ironman

Hmm these look sus for FFXIV:

Maybe they’re not so popular, or in context not worth that much, but levels and money usually are no-nos for me.

RuneScape ironman has been fun in the past, and honestly I might try it out again.

There are a bunch of microtransactions that let you skip grinds in RS3 though... Even OSRS lets you buy bonds and sell them for coins

Not if you’re an Ironman, which was my caveat

Did you edit your message or something? I could have sworn the part about Ironman wasn't there, maybe I missed it somehow

Nope but it’s ok
