buy ads on a platform that forces a login to just view tweets? That's some sudden change most people aren't prepared for. in my opinion many will stop going; how are they going to make this profitable?

It's kinda genius if you think about it. If advertisers are paying for views, then reducing viewership will allow all ad spaces to be filled. Musk is truly a 4d chess grandmaster. /s
