I believe The Beatles: Rock Band came the closest to being perfect. Eveything about that game was just beautifully done and the only things missing was Pro Drums, an option for Keys, and a few more Beatle songs (Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever, Yesterday etc. etc.)

I did not expect your pick to be The Beatles: Rock Band.

Is it because of rock band or are you just a really big Beatles fan?

I just think that everything the game was going for was perfectly done. Just the recreation of the early live shows and the dreamscapes alone is worth the price of admission, on top of the fact that while it is much easier than any other rock band title, there's still plenty of fun to be had especially with friends. Outside of the 3 things in my original post I can't really find any fault in the game

I gotta agree. I'm not a huge rhythm game fan, butbThe Beatles Rock Band is a practically perfect game.

The one drawback to those kinds of games is playing a tough level so much that the song gets sick in your head forever. When it's a Beatles Song, even that part is pretty great.
