My first read on this is to be pretty excited; the new dailies system looks interesting, more accessible skyscale will be good for newer players, etc.

I can't believe it's only 11 years old. It already felt like it had a lot of history when I played it back in 2012.

Well it did have the benefit of the lore being developed since Guild Wars 1 days. That's probably why it feels like it has so much more history.
