There is a EU law now that forces Apple to allow sideloading in the EU. Common EU W

They have no obligations to allow that outside of the EU though.

I rather hope someone forks Infinity for Reddit and makes Infinity for Lemmy.

Making such an app from scratch is pretty difficult and it probably will never be as good as the original and Infinity is Open Source. Although it sucks for iOS users

I bought the Monogatari series on humble bundle a few years ago. No DRM and all the books for about 20€

Now it's because of reddit's horrible decisions regarding their API
