I just looked at their pinned post and it's 100% satire and if you think otherwise you've never been on satire sub before

What's Not True

  1. Mr. Huffman has never lied or been dishonest. He has been 100% forward throughout this whole process.

  2. That apps "can't afford" to pay the reasonable fees Mr. Huffman is requesting. Many of them are embroiled in inefficiency, and even the highest cited api costs on their part have still been well within reason.

  3. Mr. Huffman's actions won't "kill" reddit. In fact, the changes he id making are necessary to ensure that reddit continues to thrive.

For all these reasons and many more, we at /r/FriendsofSpez #standwithhuffman, and you should too!

This 100% is a joke sub. Everyone who believes this is real has never been to a real satire sub like r/LoveForLandlords or r/BanVideoGames

It wouldn't be a good satire sub when they would break their role.

Also: sorry to bring it to you this way but r/BanVideoGames is satire too. The people there don't actually believe that they're on Facebook and are writing comments with the macrowave oven on the ISS

No. It is already in effect for over half a year.
