Foot is the fastest and I use it as default. Second is Kitty because it uses GPU acceleration.

I agree that F-Droid is great!

What I usually do is to buy the pro version on Google Play and install it later on F-Droid.

On the other hand I don't see anything wrong for non tech people to install FOSS apps from the Play Store. The apps are still FOSS

Startet using Linux in 1999. Then I did a lot of distro hopping:

  • Redhat
  • Suse Linux
  • Gentoo
  • Sabayon Linux
  • Debian
  • Kdenlive
  • Arch
  • Ubuntu Studio
  • Fedora
  • Fedora Silverblue
  • since 2017 NixOS

NixOS feels very contemporary and will stay a while. It is very advanced and usable in many diverse environments. In the past I did learn a lot installing and maintaining Debian and Arch – which has a great community.

Another NixOS user.

At the Chaos Communication Congress #37c3 I played some forward Drum’n’Bass at a pop-up party stage. "DJ? Tasmo - Unlocking Stage H @ 37c3"

Ich wünschte, die grüne Jugend hätte was zu sagen.

Im Ernst: Die Schlagzeile ist mir zu reißerisch und unterstützt das Bilden von Vorurteilen.

Was miss reading "we are a Spirituality community now" and thought that this is very unexpected.

But to have c/spirituality as a community here is very welcome.

For audio files sox and beets are my live saver.

For a long time I wanted to record a DJ set with very sinister dubstep sounds for situations where I feel bad and am in a bad mood.
And know that I'm not alone in this.

But beware, some of the sounds are relentlessly brutal.

According to Mozilla setting both to the value 1 is the better idea. The fallback then won't be "Accept all".

In fact Mull is an hardened based on the same source code as Firefox. It has similar fingerprint protection like Brave.

Different to Brave is as well as it has not a Tor connection implemented.

Although I do not understand the mentioned concerns against Tor.

Nice that you ask. Personally I don't like silly content in a tech community but I don't mind it.

Or the even faster successor gojq.

Occasionally I get feedback that some listen to DJ sets I put together to work. So I took a look at what I actually listen to for deep work and recorded a mix specifically for that.

When working, I see that some people create a space for themselves by wearing headphones and listening to music so they don't get distracted.

Do you guys feel the same way and if so, what tracks or mixes are you recommending?

Is here a good place for sharing DJ mixes or sets? Are there any rules against self promotion?

On my search I did not find any community for this purpose yet. Is there any community anyone can recommend for this?

While today's campaign for #Juneteenth, Bandcamp is donating 100% of their share of music sales to the #NAACP Legal Defense Fund

to promote racial justice through litigation, advocacy, and public education.

Here is a DJ mix with a journey into not too quiet Dubstep and Downtempo tracks.

The mix is meant for bass music lovers while doing deep work without getting destructed.

To follow an user or community from Mastodon works well. But writing a message to a user doesn't seem to work either way.

I wonder if it is possible to move my own account to another Lemmy and take all content with me?
