Spirit Island! It's a co-op where it's you as natural forces defending your island and natives against foreign invaders. It's very replayable, with ways to ramp up (or down) the difficulty level, and it's fun to play new pairs of spirits and discover synergies (or in a few cases, the utter lack thereof) in their powers.
I absolutely love seagulls, obnoxious little shits as they are. I love watching their interactions, the pecking orders and food squabbles. Watching a whole flock fight over a stray piece of trash, where one by one each bird fights the crowd to grab it only to realize it isn't food and drop it into the next fight, is peak humor for me.
Ugh, I'll be on the venting side. I drew the short straw and had to do two weeks of night shifts (and I'm a early bird, NOT a night owl). I slept nearly 40 out of the 48 hours last weekend, and I expect I'll do the same this weekend.

Well if you only pick up one expansion, make it the preludes. It really speeds up the early game and makes it more fun.
It's from the Hellas and Elysium expansion, which I would highly recommend. Having the new boards to swap around breathed a whole bunch of new life into the game for us, as well as the new milestones and achievements.
It's made with finely shredded potato and a mix of potato and regular flour. It's actually best made with shriveled old potatoes, as they've lost a lot of their water, which makes the dumpling hold better.
