Fresh Graphene. In order to get stock Android back you would need to install it back on your phone. A factory reset removes all data, settings, and apps that were put on the phone by the user.

I'm hopeful that the non-ultra version will be compact... But what else will they remove to make it not so ultra?

Neat visuals but I don't think this is in any way accurate... Tell me how I crossed all those lightyears in about 60 seconds while only traveling at around 95% the speed of light.

I get that "enshitification" is the hot new buzzword but cold we please give it a rest. Reading this community you start to think that people can't express that the Internet is not to their liking in any other way.

Yeah, I run Graphene as well and don't have the same issue you complain about so I'm not sure what you're doing differently.

Stop downloading all those free-to-play-pay-to-win games. Basically any app that is advertised for but free to use is going to maximize the amount of data they harvest and the number of "notifications"(ads) they send you.

Weird that scruz.social shows up on that list. I shut that down ages ago and it was not even a lemmy instance...it was mastodon.

I see that this was published out of the BBC's Delhi offices. I guess the writing makes sense now.

I get that this is a big deal but why do the headlines need to fluff it up to make it seem like there is a human out there? When do we ever say that our rovers on Mars are going for a Mars walk or stepping off their landing platform? If it's wheels they are rolling or going for a drive! It's no wonder that trust in news media is declining when there are editors who think this kind of bullshit can fly in a science headline.

Is there currently a way on Lemmy-ui to mark a post as "read" so that it no longer shows up in the feed? As the admin of my personal server I know I can remove the post but I'm looking for a solution that doesn't affect others on my instance. I see a setting for hiding read posts but I don't see a way to mark a post as being read.

Just wanted to know if I should expect any issues with this set-up. 1st proxy is NGINX on the host machine (Ansible-setup). 2nd proxy is NGINX on OPNsense. I'm using self signed certs on the host machine because I don't want port 80 left open. OPNsense ACME plugin manages my certificates.

I've noticed that a lot of comments do not get pulled with posts. Also, I am unable to log in to my server with Jerboa.

Does lemmy use port 80 for anything besides getting SSL certs? Will the double proxy screw up federation or my ability to log in through 3rd party solutions?
