I think 5 or 6. I'd get to experience living in different cultures without having to abandon friends and family in my current location.

Something I did to someone who needed to know the effects of not locking ones screen when away: alias ls to echo 'Error: file not found'. Took them a good hour to figure out what was wrong with their machine 😅

For decades I pronounced albeit like "al-bayt", instead of "all-be-it". I only ever saw it in writing, and never hears anyone say it. Meaning made also so much more sense when I finally heard it being said out loud. Eye opener.

Ik ben op zoek naar aardappelen met een beetje smaak. Voorheen hadden verkochten zowel AH als Jumbo het ras Gourmadine onder het label "Gourmande". Deze vond ik erg smakelijk, zo smakelijk dat je er eigenlijk nauwelijks zout of andere kruiden op hoefde te doen. Het heeft een beetje nootachtige smaak. Hoewel het "gourmande" label bij beide supermarkten nog bestaat is dit nu echt een ander ras. Anders gezegd: het smaakt nergens meer naar. Bij de AH staat de rasvermelding er niet eens meer op (zie foto, mag dat?). Helaas zie ik ook dat Agrico, de teler, dit ras onder "oude rassen" heeft staan, en online is deze vrijwel nergens meer te krijgen. Ik vermoed dat ie uit de handel is gehaald.
Dus ben ik op zoek naar een vervanging. Wat is een ander goed smakend vrij vastkokend ras? Ik ben ok met een webshop, of kleinere winkel binnen een straal van +-50km vanaf Den Haag.

My grandparent's desktop computer. I didn't break the hardware, but i set the default font size in windows 98 to some ludicrously high value. That made it so large the OS became unusable and the dialog to change it back was also unusable. Probably a quick terminal command would have fixed it within a couple seconds but I wasn't old enough to understand that and my parents weren't very tech-savvy.
