As much as I like Marvel movies, I hate every single movie seems like taken out of the marvel mold. sometimes I see old movies and wished they still made some like them.

I honestly think the issue is that these people want a SmartTV but are annoyed about its downsides. When I bought my current TV I disabled the smartOS but ended up enabling it back because I did find value on its features.

I think the complaints are not well articulated. They do want the smart TV they just want good ones that dont spy on them or show ads.

Hello!

I plan to replace an electric vitroceramic cooktop for an induction one. Both are 60cm in width, but looking at their manuals, the current one specifies a cutout of 58cm while the new one says 56cm. Both specify the same height (49cm)

Now, thankfully I dont need to make the hole larger, but Im wondering if the extra 2cm will be a problem or not? The cooktop should cover the entire hole but Im not sure if it the extra space could allow it to move around. I'm hoping it would be ok (they tend to have an anti-slippery silicon thingy), but I prefer to ask if some has experience just in case.

smart TVs mostly can be used as a dumb TV if you reject the terms of services when you set it up. I understand they are annoying, but people making such a big fuzz about them are clearly just fabricating drama.

they are not live. before they feed the grid they need to synchronize to the grid’s phase

-they detect AC from the grid

-they sync the phase to it

-start feeding

why? they put around 600w max. there are plenty of appliances in a home that put a higher load than that.

they have a “micro inverter” you literally just plug them into a socket in your house.

it’s for the safety of people working on the grid. solar panels in general have either to be isolated from the grid or disconnect if the grid is down. they are not allowed to spill into the grid if the grid has no power.

I love Double Indemnity. The plot itself has become a bit of a cliche (in part due on how good this movie is) but it is still magnificently executed.

Imagine being able to give away 99% of your money and still being a billionaire.

yes, but my question is specifically about 'sources'. Saying "public trackers" is like asking how to get to a supermarket and answering "use the roads". Also a lot of public tracker sites do not have a API readily availble, hence my question.

In the end I learned about prowlarr and jackett, which is the piece I was missing.

I have been using showrss for very long time to get a rss feed of my tv shows. unfortunately they dont support more than 1080p. I've been looking to upgrade to something that allow me to automate downloads that supports 4k and HDR releases of shows. I don't have access to any private tracker atm.

I currently use the software flexget to automate my downloading, if that is important.

what are my options?

Finding movies dubbed to Spanish (particularly children/family movies) seems tricky. Seems that 'sphere likes their download links. Which are good places to get them? I dont mind if it's latinamerican or spanish dubbing
