It's also focused on x-rays instead of the visible spectrum. I would hazard a guess that the resolution requirements for this are vastly different in scale compared to photography.

What a wonderful rabbit hole to go down. My takeaways are it could possibly be used for knitting, but traditional spool knitting that the Grandma uses in the video doesn't show up in history until the 1500s. If the Romans did use it for gloves then knitting has been around much longer than we have evidence of or they were using a different method with the dodecahedron.
That would be amazing. I grew up in the 80s/90s. I remember all the hype about the ozone and we as a society were able to change course and solve the problem.
Another thing we need to do as a society is recognize and praise the efforts that are being done to encourage those that are doing it and hopefully encourage more to follow in their steps.
They should modify the saying "The only things that are guaranteed are death and taxes" to add "and older generations saying their music was the best"
I feel the same way. I'm appreciating genres I normally would have scoffed at when I was younger.
Can't afford a home, probably gonna be illegal to be homeless. Guess they should just kill themselves then.
Fuck the modern conservative movement. No empathy for the downtrodden.
I also just finished episode one. I agree, there are definitely signs they are trying to be quirky like the old man saying "Get back here! Well that didn't go as expected" when she left the vault, but I think they need to lean into it more. Something is just a little off.
I still enjoyed it though!
Everyone has superhero fatigue, seems like a great time to develop another superhero show!
Adam Savage would be proud :)
Edit: If you haven't read his book: https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/43319933
Which I think bolsters the argument for anti-doomerism (yes, I'm making that a word now).
I was thinking the same thing!
