Ahhh...I remember when that album came out. Lots of hype for it.

Ha. I don't know if I've ever seen that one before. Definitely one that would stand out!
- Song - My Hometown
- Album - Born in the U.S.A.
- Artist - Bruce Springsteen
One of the most memorable asses of the 80s. I have albums with more impressive artwork, more memorable for me personally, but come on. It doesn't get much more iconic than this.
Some raw veggies, pretzels, hummus, cheese. Maybe some nuts or hard cooked eggs. Seriously like my favorite dinner.
Song - The Gallery Album - Clouds Artist - Joni Mitchell
Since songwriting is a form of art, I considered going with The Darkeness' "Solid Gold." But I kept coming back to Joni. This one was for Leonard Cohen.
I will readily admit that the late 80s were generally a shitty time for rock attitudes toward...like...everyone that wasn't a straight white male. All I can do is hope that they've all grown some in the last 30+ years.
- Song - Youth Gone Wild
- Album - Skid Row
- Artist - Skid Row
Look, I'm an old man. Certainly not "youth" any longer. I grew up on hair bands. The first two Skid Row albums rule. Wish I had Slave to the Grind on vinyl because THAT shit really rocks.
I really dislike the theming and buttons at the top of the page on Lemmy mobile. The tildes theme is better, but some of those targets are pretty tiny for my not real large hands. Jerboa uses my system colors and allows for a little customization.
Every now and then I do find myself needing to leave the app to do or find something on the actual site, but it's mostly been good for me so far.
I like going the lemming related route...
- Lemmini
- Lagurus
- Muskrat
Or in a different direction: Lemmyn. With a yellow citrus 🍋 logo.
Also, Infinity was my most recent Reddit app of choice. I miss it. Really looking forward to testing yours out.
- Song - Landed
- Album - Songs for Silverman
- Artist - Ben Folds
Ben's "Tiny Dancer." It's a really REALLY great song. There have been multiple times since its release that I've had it on repeat for days. I kind of prefer the strings version, but that's not the record I have.
No mention of Metafilter or Fark? Pffff.
Probably a top 10 all time favorite song for me. Ruffin just absolutely killed it.
