Subscription services are not worth it, period. Phone and internet bills are all you need to get everything you want at the best possible qualities in the best possible formats. Subscription services are only convenient for the lazy who don't know how to use the internet.
It's really not objectively worlds easier though. With a smart setup, it's a difference of literally 1-2 taps on my phone screen and then I put my phone down beside me and grab my wireless controller and the rest of the experience is identical, only it has all the benefits of a PC (unlimited fps, zero ads, no reliance on subscription services, streaming services, etc). For 90% of end users yeah it's easier because they think you have to sit at a desk with a wired mouse and keyboard to interface with desktop PC hardware, but that's a plebian problem tbh.
Cool, no prob. Thank you for explaining 👍 will be worth the wait.
I really like Jerboa. I'm getting a server version vs. app version pop-up at launch and the odd crash when making a comment or saving a post, but I enjoy the UX a lot issues aside. The list view is 🤌
Returnal.
Stellar game. Looking forward to Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
Yep, it's worth it. Yes it still connects to Playstation network. Yes you can get trophies. Yes you can download permanent digital copies of PS1, PS2 and PS3 games for $5--$10 ea. (probably less in USD) without a PS+ subscription and you can play them all offline.
Deus Ex (2000)
This is a very popular opinion and one that has always confused me. More to do always equals more value even if some of the content is padding or optional.
Mostly, yeah. Between the telecom monopoly in Canada and 95% of movies games tv shows and music made after 2010 not interesting me in the slightest, I don't feel like I'm missing out at all. The rare new game or bandcamp track I enjoy I have no problem paying a one time fee for. I'm not heartless or a thief but yeah.. I learned very young how to get everything for free and it's too easy to pass up.
