Well shit that's incredibly edifying too. Ugh.

Thanks for sharing this extremely edifying article. I hope their new index gets adopted. He is 100% correct when he says we have a responsibility. I'd go one further and say it's a moral imperative.

"Malcolm had a turbulent childhood that he clearly doesn’t want to talk about. He comes from a wealthy family and grew up in Dallas, but was sent to a “troubled teen” residential facility when he was 11. The only reason he can give me for being sent there was that his parents were getting divorced and were locked in a bitter custody dispute, and the judge “thought I shouldn’t be with either parent”. After that, he lived at a private boarding school, with his fees and expenses covered by a family trust. “I have no beef with my parents. My childhood was hard, but my adulthood has been easy. Can I say a parent did a bad job if I’m happy with my life today? I don’t think so.” "

L to the O to the motherfucking L. These people are just reacting to their trauma and acting like they've found some magical answer to life being hard. Their poor children.

Seriously. I feel like a stone cold asshole, but holy shit what the fuck were they thinking? I am struggling to scrounge up any sympathy for such an outrageously stupid decision. People truly think they're special, and act like they have plot armor. Very sad, but not surprising.

Can anyone from gen z refute this? You relate to this deeply don't you? It's OK. Embrace it. Perms are your friend. They don't betray you at all. Look how good you look.

Was thinking of trying my hand at my own corned beef this year. I'm of Irish decent, but have never celebrated st paddy's beyond getting wasted lol. Maybe whip up some colcannon too? Anyone have any great recipes for corned beef? Or any tips for other dishes to include? I know corned beef and cabbage is an Irish American thing, maybe someone has some more common Irish dishes to recommend?

From where I sit physical media is experiencing a huge surge in popularity. So I think bluray is here to stay, and will see more usage in the coming years.

I imagine the census worker was asking the father for answers, so this is likely his passive aggressive critique of his daughter. Good for her.

This headline is hilarious. It directly contradicts itself. Renaissance means rebirth. Video game music needs to have been very popular and then fallen out of popularity for that claim to be true. And then it says now more than ever it is being appreciated. Meaning it never had this much popularity. Meaning a renaissance is literally not what is happening. Good for composers though! Well earned appreciation for sure. I'm not mad at it or anything, just wanted to point out how stupid the headline is lol

As a gay man, maybe early empire Rome? Or even like early nomadic tribe times? Like, before there were institutions large enough to oppress people en masse. I'm sure there was plenty of gay sex happening as a nomadic hunter or trader.
