Good Riddance (The Time of Your Life) is a blemish on an otherwise perfect Nimrod

The quest where you help the girl find her "pet" and you find out at the end that it's a bearer who was petrified is super fucked up. The whole time you think this girl is talking about a dog or cat. It really hits home how normalized treating bearers as less than is in this world.
OP couldn't be more wrong.
You're so close, bud.
Most ebikes have a top speed of 20mph and weigh less than a motorcycle (and MUCH LESS than a car,) so your first paragraph is BS.
2nd paragraph - right on. It's almost like cars are big heavy death machines that are dangerous, even FATAL, at high speeds.
Motorcycles cost more, are heavier, and move much faster than ebikes. They're absolutely more dangerous than an ebike.
Give ebikes their own infrastructure and do urban planning that reduces the speed and danger levels of large, fast-moving vehicles.
I played Eastward and really enjoyed it, even though I thought the ending was bittersweet.
I've heard reviews compare it to EarthBound and I guess it reminds me of EarthBound stylistically, but plays more like Zelda or something.
There's a game within the game called Earth Born that plays like a fast-paced Dragon Quest. It's an interesting game. :D
EarthBound for the SNES is one of my favorite RPGs. Very original for its time in terms of setting and battle mechanics. Also, Ness from Smash Bros. is in it!
I suggested the book in your original post. I'm lazy and don't know how to read. Sorry. But I second Six of Crows!
Does this include military appreciation night bullshit too?
Have to go to Chicago for a work thing in a few weeks. Instead of flying there, I'm taking the Amtrak Lake Shore Limited train, which I'm really excited about. I get a private roomette to sleep in and I'm hoping for some great sights along the way!
I'm not jazzed that they're trying to turn it into an Instagram/TikTok of sorts. I don't want little video clips with my music - I just want the music!
