@figaro John Dehlin and Radio Free Mormon did a ridiculously in-depth interview with an archaeologist named Dr. Robert Ritner on this very subject. It's long, but worth a watch. I'll link it when I have a moment to find it.

Edit: Sorry, he was an Egyptologist, not an archaeologist. (Does Lemmy support post editing?)

@brownbreadboy I don't know. I abandoned Reddit a few months ago. It turns out there's already a growing exmo community here in the fedi.
