Lots of good suggestions already. I might recommend Uprooted by Naomi Novik, The Story of Silence by Alex Myers, or The Haunting of Tram Car 015 by P. Djeli Clark.

I might imagine a survey of Lemmy users might be biased toward faster internet. I wonder how this will be publicized to the state's broader population.

I happen to live where multiple new routes converge, so this new system looks more convenient (for me, anyways). If I could bring the dogs on the bus, though, I'd be much more likely to use it.

I don't know much (or anything) about calculators, but I wanted to share a select few that I thought looked cool. Here's the museum's website: https://www.kennettclassic.com/

Currently sitting at 98% rated power, which I'd consider online and operating at nominal conditions. https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/event-status/reactor-status/ps.html

Hope all goes well as they transition from testing to steady state operation. Historically, Cycle 1 has has been rough for many units due minor latent equipment issues and uncaptured debris from construction. Unit 4 should have initial criticality late this year as well!

I was a little underwhelmed by the announcement. The screen resolution, eye tracking, and avatars seem like the big selling points. The 2-hr battery and lack of use case for pass-through AR are pretty meh.

I also have one for pihole, and one that's a staking node for a weird altcoin I was really into a couple years ago.
