I have a childhood friend who was very recently diagnosed with autism. We talked a little while ago and he brought it up. My first thought was "ah, yep, that explains a lot".

He's still a great friend. It didn't change anything about him, rather it helped make sense of his behaviors that we all just saw as "that's just how [friend] is".

Look, sometimes shit hits the fan right before passdown and there's nothing you can do about it except bring everyone up to speed.

I been trying to find old Kindles for sale

Try "Unclaimed Baggage". We got our kids kindles through them.

Fuck Nazis, fuck the KKK, and I'm not selling my wife's gun at this point. Too much at stake.

Oh that's weird. I just got straight-up banned the other day for saying something bad about Nazis ๐Ÿ˜‚

That's not a shadowban, that's a straight up suspension.

A shadowban is just when your posts and comments are filtered and hidden from others.

Shouldn't that require them to adjust the light angle to compensate

Yes.

or does the law not care?

The law states that headlights must be below a certain height. I forget the exact number, but it is the law. It's not enforced, but it's law nonetheless.

Just to clarify - those aren't high beams. It's just lifted enough to where the cutoff is above your eyesight. Still sucks ass.

That would be really fucking nice. I'm not joking. It takes me less than 15 minutes to drive to work, public transport doesn't exist for me, and biking is terrifying because a long part of it is on a 55MPH rural highway with no shoulders or bike lanes.

I've taken to riding a motorcycle during the warm season instead. Far more enjoyable and nicer, even on a 49cc scooter (modded to reach 50+) or a 46 year-old Enduro bike.
