uBlock Origin does a good job for me. On occasion, I will try watching YouTube on a platform where I don't have it and I'm amazed how unwatchable it is. This reminds me to try to find alternate platforms for watching the creators I care about. Nebula is a good option for a lot of them, although it probably will never have the variety YouTube has. I haven't tried PeerTube yet...I suspect I will run into the same issue.

Yeah. From what I understand, Giles Martin used the same technique (or, at least, a similar one) when making the 2022 remix of Revolver. The AI was able to make clean stems from the original tracks where the instruments were mixed. So, I would suspect that this technique was able to separate the vocal from tape hiss, room noise and other factors--it isn't a deepfake of John Lennon.
If I am going to believe random articles I found on the internet (and, of course, I am), the reason is because SQL was originally called SEQUEL until the creators ran into a trademark issue.. They changed it to SQL, but us old timers just kept calling it the old thing. Something about old dogs and new tricks.

I want to be enthusiastic about Secret Invasion...really, I do! But I would trade it all in a second for a second season of Moon Knight. I know that Moon Knight is kinda on the schedule, but I won't be convinced it is happening until I see a trailer. There have been a lot of changes of at the House of Mouse, lately.
Honestly, as I get older, I appreciate seats with lots of leg room more and more. I got "theater knees" that would bother me more than the neck pain and retinal damage that probably comes with that seat.
It's Nolan, so it's going to be unbearably loud...it might as well be unbearably bright, right?
I was a piker and just hit the delete button without doing any of these things. Did I lose some history that, in retrospect, I might have wanted to revisit...honestly, no! I never went back and visited my old posts and (and I'm embarrassed to admit this), none of them were likely to have any value to future generations.
Some people post great, information rich posts about how to debug .NET applications or defuse nuclear weapons. I think my greatest contribution to Reddit was making a pun that once got 54 likes.
The important thing to remember is to delete your Reddit account (and hope that AskHistorians comes to the Fediverse eventually!).
