Yeah, I'm in one of those "safe" states right now, doesn't mean the amount of bullying and straight up assault has gone down, in fact, in the small rural town I live in it's probably more dangerous to be trans than it would to be so in Miami or Houston.

This, I was all going with the flow with the blackout (my 3rd party app in particular is apparently "in talks" so good chance won't get shut down), but after the AMA I just left. I spend time here and on tildes, fulfills my need to be social on the internet.

Hell, before the AMA I was willing to pay a sub to use an app on my phone, not anymore . . . after all the shit of the past decade I am just done, and I think there are thousands like me.

Yeah, not 43% of the actual content (which is what the verge reported the extant of the blackout yesterday).

This gets me too, I'm very good at math, I am terrible at arithmetic.

I'm going to continue my AT section hike (I took a couple of years off for covid and ACL replacement), me and my brother are doing. We're doing Hollins, VA to as far as we can get south in 1 month (we are slow AF), lots of support plus a 5 day camping party in Beartown (the only thing we "have' to make) if we can get 250 miles out of this one that means we only need 2 more years to finish the entire damn thing (we are going north to south in sections). Best year was 317 miles, worst year was 135 miles, we are at 8 years so far.

The Ama was enough for me, I'm keeping my reddit account active before a delete and scrub on the 28th just to . . . IDK watch the world burn and comment on it.

Same with me, most of my personal network is all 3rd party based so I'll point them at lemmy or here.
