I use arch on my laptops, debian on my servers, and I recommend fedora to others. I'm also nix/guix curious.

I found a major communication problem with public perception of Lemmy. they seem to think a community is tied to a particular instance in c/lemmy@lemmy.ml

Dude, it's obvious you don't understand how lemmy or the fediverse works. You need to read more and maybe ask questions to clear up your misunderstanding before you go around making grand pronouncements about how lemmy should be run. A little bit of humility goes a long way.

I liked the nexus line of phones for having stock android and being a good price with okay tradeoffs. I use the Pixel #a line of phones because they're continuing that tradition.
